What to do when you’re bored!

Hi guys! Bubblebunny05 here. Have you ever just sat in your house with nothing to do and looked out the window dreaming about another universe where there’s no school or exams or just basically eating your whole fridge out of boredom? I’m guessing we’ve all been through that many times, so without me rambling anymore, let’s get on with the today’s post!

 

Things you’ll need:

-you

-your imagination

-food

-random stuff

 

Steps:

You could just doodle all over a piece of paper or your notebook! This is what I do whenever I get bored in class. It actually passes the time really quickly so I highly recommend this. Just make sure you don’t do it when the teacher is teaching though! XD

 

For this you will need a shallow plate, corn starch and water. First, scoop some corn starch into your plate [however much you would like] and then add some water. [food coloring is optional] After that, play with it! It is really fun as when you squish it all up in your hands it becomes a solid and when you open your hands it flows out of your hands and becomes a liquid again.

 

Melt some chocolate, spread it onto a baking sheet evenly, pour some sprinkles on it, put it in the fridge to let it cool and then eat it! It’s basically like chocolate bark. It tastes delicious too! And you can have fun with the sprinkles too! [You can also make shapes with it]

 

Bake some cookies! My friends and I baked some sugar cookies[tasted like cookiefied pancakes] and put buttercream on top![I know what you’re thinking, buttercream?! Yeah, my friend thought that buttercream could be used on cookies too] Comment down below if you want to see the process of it! 🙂

 

Go on an adventure! This doesn’t mean that you have to book a trip to the caribbean or something. Just walk around your house or neighbourhood. You might discover new things.[My cousins and I like to catch insects in my backyard] Shopping also counts as an adventure! Hiking too! There are endless possibilities! 🙂

 

DIY something! I love doing this on the weekends! You never know, you might be a talented pro-DIYer! XD

 

7. Take up a new hobby! We have pinterest now so you can just search up a ton of different hobby ideas that you would love!

 

8. You could exercise or study! [To be honest not many people do this so it’s okay] XDXDXD

 

9. If all else fails, binge watch youtube videos! A few of my favourite youtubers are:

10. After that, you could read a book or watch netflix!

School Supplies Haul 2016!

Hello! Bubblebunny05 here. Today I am going to show you what I bought for school. School has already started for me and a new year means NEW cute and fun school supplies!!! I just love shopping for school supplies. Tell me in the comments if you love shopping for stationery too! Without wasting any more time, Let’s get started.

 

Paint brushes. Wait, is this even a school supply?! Oh yeah, it isn’t. Sorry about that. I just really love painting and my brushes are getting well, a bit old and worn out. So I decided to buy a few new ones and well, add it into my post. Plus! We have art class in school anyways.

 

I also bought a white/ translucent accordion type of file folder for school. I always buy one every year as it keeps me organized. I keep my handouts in here as well as my homework so that I do not lose them or forget about them.

 

Paper! You never know, your teacher may want you to write your essay on a piece of paper rather than in your notebook. So always make sure you have some paper with you. I don’t know about you but I am always the one who people would ask to borrow my paper because they didn’t have any. So, be prepared and bring some paper!

 

Next up are notebooks. I got these cute and colorful ones from Daiso. They aren’t really expensive. Although I know that some nice notebooks are overly-priced. But that is okay! You could just DIY them! Look up pinterest for some cute and easy DIY notebooks. Plus, Nobody would have the exact notebook as you. I feel awkward when somebody has the same stuff as me. Well, of course not for pens and stuff but like backpacks and water bottles.

 

I also got a pack of pens for the new school year. These are just your average ball point pens by papermate. I love love love the papermate inkjoy ones as they are so smooth. But this is just personal preference, everybody has different likings. You could just buy the ones that you normally buy too. But  if you would like try out some new pens, definitely try these ones. ( I am not sponsored by papermate. They’re products are just really nice to use)

 

Of course, I got some gel ink pens by the brand pilot. I would normally use them for fancy stuff such as official forms or just to make my notes look nice.

 

I would definitely not forget to buy some highlighters as I just love having colorful notes and well, highlighting stuff. I always buy every color they have but you could also just buy one color too. I like the highlighters by stabilo as they glide smoothly on your paper. I bought this design just because they are thinner so they would not take up much space in my pencil case.

 

Mechanical pencils! I do like the traditional pencils for drawing, but when it comes to school, I like using the mechanical ones better as I do not need to sharpen them and I only need to bring one in my pencil case.

 

To go with the mechanical pencils, I bought a big pack of lead. I always use the buncho ones.

 

Next up is white-out/ correction tape. We are not allowed to bring the liquid ones so I always buy these ones. The quality is great but other than that I have no specific reason to why I always buy this one except that because I think it looks nice.

 

Erasers. I bought a three pack one because 1. It was cheaper and 2. I tend to lose erasers easily. I like the ones by pentel as they are soft and it does not smudge or tear my paper.

 

Apart from the average school supplies, I also bought some paper fasteners and sticky flags to organize my school stuff. The paper fasteners come in many different colors but I personally like these ones. I use them to file my papers so that they are not everywhere. As for the sticky flags, I use them to mark the pages of homework I need to do.

 

I also got a few glue sticks. I don’t really like the water ones as they make my paper look weird and ugly. I bought the papermate ones as they were cheap but great in quality.

 

Last but not least is my scientific calculator. I just started middle school and my friend told me that I should buy it now as the price has been rising rapidly over the past few years. This is the standard ones that we use in school so I decided to just buy this one rather than the other fancy ones. I have not used it yet so I can’t really tell you whether the quality is good.

 

That is all the supplies that I bought for school. I am re-using my backpack and my pencil case as they are still in great shape. I hope you like my post! A DIY school supply post will  be coming up soon so stay tuned for that! Until then, Bye! 🙂

What I got for Christmas 2015!!!

Hello! Bubblebunny05 here! Merry Christmas! (I know christmas is over, but meh! Christmas is just so fun and exciting! Why does it have to end? 😦 ) Hahaha. Did u guys have a fun christmas this year? I had! I had so much fun playing with my friends and family this Christmas! It was the epic. Anyways, today I’m gonna show you what I got for Christmas! I’m not trying to brag or anything but I just love to know what people got for Christmas! I don’t know, to me it’s quite interesting. So without wasting anymore time, let’s get on to the post!

 

 

The first present I got was this really cute giraffe notebook from my aunt. It’s just so cute! So, thank you aunty Sarah! (If you’re reading this)

 

Next up, I got a pair of socks from my grandaunt. The quality is great. I think I’m going to use them to stretch for my splits since they are really smooth and I can glide down easily.

 

I also got a sketchbook, a set of watercolor pencils and a huge tub of erasers from my cousin. I used the sketchbook already. The quality of the paper is okay. Although I haven’t tried using watercolors to paint on it. So, we’ll see how that goes. I’ve never used watercolor pencils before so I can’t wait to try them out! I tried out the erasers but it didn’t work as well as the pentel ones that I normally use. For me I prefer the pentel ones. These stabilo ones are black so I can’t see if the eraser is dirty. Apart from that, the eraser is quite hard compared to the pentel ones so when I used it part of my artwork got ripped. I think I’ll be using these for school. But if you prefer hard erasers, you should give these ones a try. Cause for hard erasers, these ones are quite good.

 

I also received a few eos products from my family. I have never actually gotten myself to buying one so I was very happy when I received these as gifts. I gave myself a little manicure last night and decided to try out the hand lotions. They are quite moisturizing but what I like best about them is the delicious smell of it. 🙂

 

I don’t know who this soap belongs to but I decided to include it in. ( I found it on my dining table if you’re wondering) I haven’t used it yet but I have a feeling that it is gonna be great! The smell of the soap is just wonderful! If nobody wants it, I think I’m gonna get it. hahaha!

 

I am really thankful for all the gifts that I received. Be thankful for what you have and remember that giving is better than receiving is way better than receiving. Especially if the person loves what you got them.

Christmas Gift Ideas for Girls!

Hi guys! bubblebunny05 here. Sorry for not posting lately,  I have been busy with Christmas dances and travel. But I’m back now! So Without wasting anytime, let’s get started!

Today I’m give you guys some tips and tricks for buying the perfect gift for that special friend of yours.

 

The easiest thing to buys is a gift card. Just go to their favourite store and ask them if they sell gift cards. Most stores would let you choose from a variety of designs. Pick the one that your friend will like the most, give the desired amount of money to the cashier and you’ve got a lovely gift for your friend. You can even spice it up by making your own gift card pouch!

 

You could also buy them cute jewellery. Most stores sell them like H&m, Cotton On, Urban Outfitters and other clothes shop would sell jewellry. You could also buy them friendship necklaces too. If you want to make it extra special, you could make a handmade necklace for them too. Its cheaper than buying one plus you can customize it to your friend’s liking.

 

If your friend doesn’t really like to accessorize, you could buy them clothes too. Just make sure you know what size they wear. And obviously, they’re style.

 

Besides that, you could buy them makeup too, especially if one of your friends loves to experiment with makeup. Or has a beautyguru channel on youtube. 🙂

 

If your friends are one of those friends who loves cute stationery, you could go to a cute stationery store and buy some stationery for them. A cute planner or notebook would be great too. I mean, who doesen’t love cute stationery?

 

Tip & Tricks :

1.  Ask them what they’re hobby is or what’s they’re favourite color. That should give you an idea of what to buy.
2.  Ask them to guess what you got for them. Normally the first few things they say is what they want. But if it is too expensive just ask them to guess again.
3. You could also just get straight to the answer and ask them what they would like to have for Christmas.

October Favorites 2015

Today I’m gonna tell you all about my favourite art supplies. I love these type of posts as they help me find new art supplies that are great in quality but cheap. Let’s get started! 🙂

 

I love the Campap watercolor as it is cheap but high in quality. The one I have is the hot-pressed one but I think you should be able to fins the cold-pressed ones too. It has 12 sheets of paper and it is 200gsm.

 

 

I love the sketchbook from campap too! the paper is just right for me to paint my watercolors plus its compact and great for painting on the go or when you’re travelling. Especially if you’re trying to pack light. Its A5 size and the paper is 110gsm. You can find it at any art store such as michael’s.

 

Next is my H Staedtlar pencil. I use this for my sketches and pencil drawings. I also use the HB ones sometimes. But just a normal 2B pencil works fine too. I used to use 2B pencils when I just started drawing.

 

I use the micron pens by Sakura to line my drawings. I usually use the 005 and 02 ones as most of my drawings are quite small or the designs are very detailed. But having a wide variety is Great too. I think most artists that I know use this brand. It’s a bit on the expensive side but the quality is AWESOME! But if you really can’t afford it you could try the drawing pens by Artline. I used them when I was learning to draw comics in school. It’s a bit cheaper. You could always use a normal ballpoint too.That’s what my brother uses and he makes great drawings too.

 

The watercolors I use were bought from a local art store but I can’t remember the brand. Sorry 😦   It comes in a pack of 17 colors in tube form. Then I bought this watercolor palette from Daiso(a japanese store) and squeezed the colors into the compartments. I left one empty so that I can pour water in when I need it. I just let the colors dry and voila! My own watercolor travel watercolor palette. You can use the crayola brand too because if you just started out because even if you have the most expensive set of watercolors but do not know how to use them your artwork will still be the same as if you use the cheap ones. The ones I use were the student quality ones. But I still can make great artwork with it.

 

These brushes were given to me as a Christmas present so I don’t know where they are from. They are really good quality. The sizes I have are 2 and 6.  If you are looking to buy some brushes I would suggest that you do not buy the ones that come in a pack as you won’t use all of them. (a tip from my dad) Just make sure that the brush is flexible and soft. (also a tip from my dad)

 

I won this set of glitter pens at a friend’s party. Its really smooth and glittery! 🙂 Plus I love the colors that come in this set. I use them for some of my artwork that need a pop of color and GLITTER! You can probably guess that I love glitter a lot.
